Default aem v2

anyone here using a aem v2 intake? . does the filter touch the tranny cable thingee for everyone else too?

yep mine touches the cable too... i tried adding some washers at the screw near the filter to make it come off a bit.

mine touches as well. not much though. doesnt effect the drivability or anything though

How do you guys like your V2? I know everyone and their brother say CAI this and CAI that. I refuse to get that type of intake, risk hydrolocking, worry about dodging puddles, etc. Screw it. Just wanted some opinions on this, because I'm considering this intake.

I liked it when I had it. Heatsoaked pretty bad at the track when it was hot though. Im probably gonna sell my V2 soon. All it needs is a new filter.

any intake CAI or SRI is going to suck up hot air if it's hot at the track regardless especially on a hot *** track on a hot *** day.
