FS: PRICE DROP 13,650$ Until DEC31 - 2000 Honda S2000 - Red on Black, 66k mls, SW Michigan
PRICE DROP TO 13,650$ UNTIL DECEMBER 31 ONLY. Then its back to 14,500$ which is STILL a great price!
NO TRADES. NO MATTER WHAT. NO TRADES. Thanks!!
I'm selling my Year 2000 Honda S2000 that has been a long time coming. You guys know all the details on MY00 S2000's: 9k RPM redline, 2L, 6 Speed, HID's, leather.
Here's what makes mine worth your money:
The car presently has 66 thousand miles on it and is sitting in my garage where it spends every night. I purchased it from a member of another forum and got it up to great condition for my enjoyment. Now the car has been given a full maintenance treat to get ready for sale that included replacing all fluids with high-quality synthetics including the transmission fluid, engine oil, coolant, clutch fluid, and rear differential fluid. The tires, brake rotors, and brake pads were changed just 300 miles ago with top-notch components (Sumitomo HTRZ 1 tires & Axxis Metal Master Pads)
The paint is smooth and deep, the interior is extremely clean and scent free, and the engine runs great. No noise out back either aside from the wonderful sound of the exhaust. With an upgraded CD player, the harmony of your favorite music with this wonderful car is much improved over stock form.
I had bought the car in '06 as a present to myself for pending early graduation but as it turns out I am on the path to becoming a doctor so I am still stuck in Michigan's upper penninsula, 600 miles away from the car which is in Kalamazoo. The future doesn't look like it holds any surprises for my life so I've decided to sell this car for someone else to enjoy as I've only gotten to drive it for one week since I bought it! Total shame. A friend of mine Kalamazoo will be handling the sale for me and I have already prepared the title for him. You the potential buyer and I can definitely speak over the phone though, of course! And incidentally if you are worried about being too tall, I'm 6'3'' and fit fine.
I've seen similar S2000's go for 17 thousand and more and in my area there are none below that so at 13,650$ UNTIL DECEMBER 31 ONLY - then its back to 14,500$ - my car is PRICED TO SELL* Come see for yourself what a great car it is by calling me, mike, at 269.501.1198 or E-Mailing me at mike@forgedweb.com
*At 13,650$, I am not negotiable. If I have to bring it back up to 14,500$ then I will be slightly negotiable. I am not negotiable down to 12,500$, no one in their right minds would sell a similar S2000 for that price. In fact, most people would call me crazy for listing it at my price. I know everyone wants to feel like they got a deal but I have already done most of the work for you by pricing it to sell and still being negotiable. I have turned down 6 cash offers for 12,500$, that is too low. Also, NO TRADES. Thanks!
Pics (which I will re-take soon for clarity):

I actually go to the UP semi-annually, grandparents have a cabin in Brimley on the shores of Superior. Is there a pretty depressed economy up there? I might try to move out in a few years.
oh yeah... BUMP!

Of course! It's funny, I was just talking to a guy at a house window shop and I was asking if he was keeping busy and he said suprisingly busy for the season but he had already laid everyone off for the winter and added that `We have an advantage up here in that the economy up here is always depressed so nothing too slow really comes as a surprise.
I am considering living up here when I finish my MD, but that is oh so far away

Yeah, I just look at some of the real estate up there in Sault Sainte Marie, laugh and wonder how easy it would be to pick up a 30k house and just chill for a few years, I fell in love with the town a long time ago, but with those brutal winters and the dismal MI economy, ugh... Pipe dreams I guess. GL with the sale man.
