alittle help on removing vtec controller

alittle help on removing vtec controller
i got a obdI and a vtec controller. i dont want it anymore, but i when i take it out the check engine lights goes on. do i need to rewire the vtec wire. how i suppose to do it. any help would be helpful.

aight . thanks for the help man. i was clueless. i dont want to mess around with the ecu. all i can do is engine stuff. thanks
