HID question..
what is the thing in the middle for? the little black button looking thing?
oh and another question if i have a 8000k hid kit can i just buy the 6000k bulb if i want to change to that..?

Yes, if you have a rebased bulb, you can put any other rebased bulb in there.
I'm glad you're upgrading to a more reasonable color from 8000k.
Try 4300k, that's OEM and puts out the most light
