What do you guys think . WIll hsl cams be too aggressive?

I have blox B's, but evenually want to save money for pro 1's or M22x's

IMO, i think your able to to run those HSLs
your CR should be good for it.

 

im building a similar ls/vtec setup i have the blox hsl's. I havent ran them yet but from talking to my tuner those cams really come alive after 6500-7k so depends how high you plan to rev that thing. also using a higher compression by like tho itr pistons should help you out quite a bit. Imo i think it should make for a pretty stout all motor setup. on my 81.5 with b16 piston and blah blah blah he said i should make atleast 190whp my goal is 200whp so we shall see once its on the dyno.

 

i want to rev 9k max and make 200whp> not sure might sell it and go with smaller cams, Im just scared cams my put stress on valves.What size injectors should I use?? will the stock gsr injectors work for 200, how many whp do they max out? I want to stick with stock injectors, if not upgrade to dsm 450cc

 

id say youll need atleast 310cc injectors im running dsm 450s. i doubt your going to hit over 200whp with unported head and stock intake manifold. i got a ctr head wich is a factory port job and and i got a longer stroke with going with the ls crank wich help with the tq. and he still doesnt think ima quite make 200whp. but you never know till you get out and dyno it. valves wouldnt be your main worry. the stress i think would be on the valve springs but i bought supertech dual valvesprings and titanium retainers.
