D15b7 in a 91 hatch

Default D15b7 in a 91 hatch

is it possible my hatch could have come stock with a D15b7? i can read D15b on the block but not sure of the last number its 16v so it cant be d15b1. not sure wut it is

what kind of intake manifold does it have? if it's mpfi insteald of dpfi then it's probably just a d15b2 with the mpfi swap

no its still dpfi, nuthing was changed i wanna do an mpfi swap though lol

sounds like it is D15B1 - they were 16 valve DPFI engines and came in the Civic STD model with 4 speed transmission

here is D15B1 block - notice the 4 valve reliefs in each piston

Wait. Isn't the B1 an SOHC 8 Valve & B2 a SOHC 16V? I bet he has a D15B2

It's very slow. Dont waste money modifying it. Enjoy its fuel economy.

yeah b1's are 16v

a couple of my friends had STD hatches and they were 16v d15b1's.

i think they have like 70hp

no both the b1 and b2 are 16 valve.
