How do I remove the automatic shifter cable from the auto tranny?

Sadly, theres no bitch pin. I unbolted the little cover where it meets the trans but there really no way to unattach it.


The stock motor and trans is ready to be pulled beside that, and then I'm going to put my spare dx motor in there for a daily driver.

Then, sell my CRX.

 

It's been a while since I've done an automatic, but I know for sure that the clip to remove the cable is definitly behind the little cover.

 

So there is a clip? Sweet.
