Default cheapest ITR you've seen forsale?

I'm throwing around the idea of buying another ITR as a HPDE/Winter car.
I've searched through the forsale section here, and started getting a general idea for what they're going for now. But I'm curious, what's the cheapest you've seen one go for.

The one I'm thinking about is a 97 with 86,000 miles on it. Title is clean. Carfax is clean.

Cheapest was $10K.

It was very recent too. Might even still be in the FS thread.

There is a very clean PY for sale on ebay right now! 60K miles and clean title for $13,500. Thats probably the cheapest i have seen in a while now. Keep your eyes peeled... there have really been some good deals in the past year IMO.

There is an imported JDM ITR thats not registered for around that price.

There was also a usdm itr with a JDM ITR for sale for that price, i tried to pick that one up but the seller decided to keep it due to low ballers

I don't remember his complete username but it starts with Rino is selling his R for 10,700.

Yeah I saw that one. It was a salvage title.
I also saw 2 for 11k. One had 140k on it. The other had a big dent and RUST.

So I guess it's fair to say, a decent one thats not salvage, not rusted, etc should cost AT LEAST $12k right?

I would say that is a fair thing to say.

I don't know if the rest of you have checked the values of our caR's lately but from what I have seen, our values have dropping like a rock all year long. Iit seems that Premium fuel vehicles are taking a big hit in values right now. No doubt stemming from the uncertain oil/gas prices.

for 15.5k, a modified car that i can't believe isn't sold yet, this one from singhtyper looks awesome: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2107289

for 11.5k, a salvage/theft R, this one from Jdm_Rice_Monster looks decent: http://www.hondamarketplace.co...77879

for 11k, one that needs some TLC from Enzo149: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2122941

for 9.5k, you could have gotten a theft/salvage R with JDM front that WAS a killer deal from Type-r-driver-2000: http://www.hondamarketplace.co...14710

for 12k, all out race ITR for 12k from KIWI: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2126060

for 10k (!), a 97 from program: https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=2

... just look in the ITR vehicle FS/WTB thread... there's others on page 3 for 13-16k... and even a 97 with a sunroof for like 10.5k. fugg it, wait till the summer and buy by 98 ITR for 13.5k

well he was asking $7K. he just wanted it sold. the guys brother actually had the title in his name and was making payments, so i dealt with the brother the whole time. the brother said he just wanted it sold and said "so hows $7K"... i gave him a look of "man thats too much" (at that price i pretty much had it).. so i found some things wrong with it.

the rear quarter had been replaced. which he never told me, nor was it on carfax, and thats where working at a body shop for 10 years came in to play.

i called him the next day and told him about it. kinda bitched and complained, not really caring if he knocked the price down, but i wanted to see how cheap i can do.

so he decided to knock it down $300. i still went for it.

it was a one owner. work driven car. never beat on or anything.

i mean, it wasnt perfect. had the front and rear bumper covers replaced and rear quarter replaced (separate accidents)... so its hard to tell if it would have been salvage because i didnt know when the accident happened.

IMO it was a good deal for me. not sure what the real price on it would be. im thinking above $7K for sure. but not sure how much

Is there information that isn't being disclosed by the owner, bc a jdm front, 00-01 clean title with 60K miles on it for $13,500 is cheap as hell.

Two years ago when I was on market for a Type R I found one locally. It was a 98 with 58k miles on it (rebuilt title). Car was done right, engine and transmission were like new, interior was minty mint. They guy was asking like $9k for it but I talked him down to $8100. I had cash in my pocket, he shows me the title and it is not in his name (title was made to some body shop in Indianapolis) and his name was on a title as well but in the buyer section. In other words, he bought the car from them but never registered it. Well, I was like, "I might have problems registering the car so can you go DMV with me?". The seller was actually a very nice guy and he agreed to go with me to DMV. Unfortunately they told me that they cannot make the change on the title and they told me that I could either get another title (which would probably take forever) or register the car in my name and his name, so that is where I said forget it. I don't have time for this crap. I called and got out from the deal. I do kind of regret it sometimes because the car was super nice.

I saw one for 9400 or something like that, and I think it sold for 8500. Had like 130k miles, only needed some TLC, and had a clean title. Also included a mint trunk mat and some other goodies. It was a 98 too.

The car was probably worth the money just because of the trunk mat haha

There was an 00 EDM ITR for sale on base here not to long ago. It had 94k miles on it, and he was asking 10k for it. It was from Italy and didn't have a title, so whom ever bought it wouldn't be able to get a lean on it, and would have to pay cash. It would still be able to be registered through the military without the title, but getting it back to the States wouldn't be fun.

if your looking for a HPDE/winter car, just buy a JDM RHD ITR. super cheap, always seem to come with undisclosed goodies. and go pick up some trip permits, keep you legit thru the winter!!!

Damn, my deal fell through. I have a hookup at carmax, and their california store had it in their high mileage lot. $6,000 + $700 to ship to Va.
Before I could pull the trigger over 20 carmax employees had already asked for it.
