2008 NOPI Drag Racing Series Schedule

NOPI Motorsports is proud to announce its schedule for the 2008 “NOPI Drag Racing Series sanctioned by NHRA.” The 2008 season is set to become the best season ever. Whether you’re a racer, sponsor or fan, you will see differences right off the bat with the 2008 “NOPI Drag Racing Series sanctioned by NHRA”.

“We have never been more excited here at NOPI Motorsports than we are about the new 2008 season,” said Michael Meyers, President of NOPI Motorsports. “We have had so many positive things happen in the last few weeks, it’s really exciting for everyone who is involved with the “NOPI Drag Race Series sanctioned by NHRA.” We know the fans are going to love seeing incredible racing at each and every event all year long! NOPI is going all out to see to it that racers can compete against a strong field at each event, and that they will be taken care of like never before. We think the sponsors will immediately see and feel the excitement from the NOPI events, as we are headed to some of the top tracks in the country! We have a lot of work to do to get prepared and can’t wait to kick off the new season right!”

In addition to the events above, NOPI will conduct two events not sanctioned by NHRA featuring sportsman racing and all the same lifestyle events synonymous with the NOPI Drag Racing Series. Those events will be held:

August 2, 3 Epping, NH New England Dragway

I'm just doing what' asked of me. I really hope that the west coast contingent keeps things civil. I know this isn't what anyone on the west was hoping for.

its okay we still have BOTI and IDRC.. and CMI.... on the west coast....

For everyone here who is actually down to race no matter what even if its not "NHRA"......

See you there!!

p.s. and hopefully they revamp the TV coverage of NOPI. so i can actually watch more than 5 minutes of it before i want to slit my wrists from all the stupidity... hopefully some races will be shown, more than just the final run and no burnout, i think they can cut into the 20 minutes of some guys hyundai tiburon with lambo doors interview to show some racing.. i'd love to actually see the cars in the rest of the country... not the jello wrestling and people playing xbox.....

Yeah and I seen a HUGE additional turnout of racers at the NHRA Pomono final from the west coast that weren't already commited to the series....

give me a break.. stands were packed too, thanks for the support guys.

Short season , but as was said - at least its a start. If all the events have a great turnout and even better racing then at least hopefully they can build it into a bigger schedule in years to come.
