Does anybody know if an Integra Type R spoiler would fit on a 98 - 02 Accord coupe?

 

A 97-01 Type R?

Will it fit the holes from a stock spoiler? Doubtful.

Or will it just fit? Probably if you re-drilled the mounting holes.

I just want one that fits. I don't care if the holes match. I just need to know if the Integra 94 up type R spoiler is the same length as the Accord 98 - 02 trunk, which is 47 inches. Underneath my stock Accord spoiler base is rust, so I'm going to have to grind out the rust anyways. Then I'd have to do some major bondo or fiberglass work. I was thinking about purchasing a Euro Accord Type R spoiler, which is a little bit wider than the US Accord coupe, but I'd have to order it from UK on Ebay. Even though it is wider, I could move it up the trunk a little, which might fit, but that's kinda risky. It's probably going to look funny if it's too far from the edge.

 

I checked out your link. Where did you get that bumper light on the two front sides? I need that because I can't see at my 2 sides at night. Give me a link or some kinda contact info, because I really need that.

I don't think it's all that bad. Here's the Accord Type R spoiler. The rear holes fit perfectly. I had to drill the front holes onto the spoiler.

That doesn't look right, it looks like it's too small or something. Maybe it's just the angle of the pics, but it doesn't seem to follow any body lines.

Exactly. It Almost-kinda works for the 98-02 coupe because it's boxy in the back... but doesn't. That's a fairly clean looking coupe man (I like the front and taillights, and always love the lip kit) but that spoiler, wheels, and monster truck stance aren't doing anything for it.

To answer your question, yes a 94-01 Acura Integra Type R spoiler will fit on a 2002 Honda Accord coupe. I installed it on mine and it looks so much better than the Accord Type R spoiler. You have to modify the underside of the trunk lid to put the screws in. The Accord Type R spoiler looks like it came out of a cereal box because of the (lack for a better term) mounts, the Integra spoiler doesn't have those. I'll see if I can post pictures of it but it looks better than the Accord Type R spoiler.
