Default Viper 350HV or Viper 771XVR best bang for the buck/security ?

I have read the above stickied thread already. I just want to know if the 350hv would be just as good as the 771 ? I can get the 350 brand new for around $60-70 and the 771 for around $140 brand new. Is there any draw backs from getting the 350 over the 771 ? This is on a DD with the alarm being added only as 1 of MANY securities already. How much better is the 771 if even it is any better. I don't know much about alarms as you can tell. thanks.

I personally have the 350HV on one car and also have a hornet 564T on another car too.

The 350HV is an awesome alarm in my opinion, i have a battery backup, and a motion sensor hooked up with it. it never gives me false alarms. works great.

i think i paid about 150$ installed.
