Default 05 turbo project

just trying to get my project going.
i have a d17a2 with a GT-25, im planning on running RC 440's
with a walbro pump, and to tune it with the AEM FIC.
i have been reading around and im getting different anwsers on
converting the fuel system to a return. do i have to convert the fuel system,
or can i just leave it alone? this is the only thing thats holding me up.
i have called some tuners and some say yes and others no, so im stumped....
thx for any input.

how much power do you want have and how deep are your pockets? thats what you need to answer. ive seen 200+whp without having to convert back. As for your EMS, if you dont have an auto (if you do, you dont have too many options), go for kpro. trust me, i have seen first hand at people junking out AEM EMS for kpro. maybe some of those people might just chime in :D

i ran 240 WHP on the street with a stock fuel system. only thing i had was a 255 walbro pump and SRT4 injectors. if i had converted to a return system...i wouldve prolly had better midrange but nothing else wouldve changed.

also unless your using a Y8 intake manifold.. you wont fit those RC injectors in there. you will run into the TPS sensor. if you really want 440s... look into a set of RDX injectors. they will fit better and are roughly the same output.

the y8 manifold takes quite a bit of modifying to fit on the d17.

the rdx injectors are a good choice for 450s.

precision also makes 440s but i dunno about the fit or the quality.

Good, and good.
Use the "domestic" injectors... 42 lb/hr is 441cc, so those are the ones you need.
You can try and judge whether or not you'll have a problem with it fitting.

Oh.... and go GT28R, not 25R... you'll thank yourself for it.

yea i didnt really want to convert to a return, trying to budget this project.
i already have the RC's but if i have to i'll get the SRT's there kinda cheap anyway
rsx and rdx injectors are like $600 from the dealer so thats out of the question

thanks for all the input

RSX injectors are all over the message boards for $90. if you have RCs for an older honda, they wont fit this car anyways...
