No, the car has no cage. It's daily driven full interior street car as seen here.

Don't you need a cage if you run 9 or quicker?
Are the tracks responsible if they let you run a 9 sec without a cage?

oh the whole thing where he though he should be able to get away with running no cage and everyone else who had to spend a ton of money on thier cages are ******* for telling the track officials he had no safety equipment?

the owners of that track must like him. any other track and they would ban you for going 9's with no safety equipment. im sure that wasnt his only sub 11.49 pass that day

i hate people who ignore safety... it just blows my mind that in this sport; with such a collection of talent and ingenuity, we still have morons who think they are invincible...

What blows me away is the fact that we all saw an absolute legend die because of this in our sport. You'd think that people would've learned better by now

That track only has guard rails to the finish line in the right lane. The guard rails that do exist are steel and won't do much (same type of guard rail that launched that car at Orlando Speed World last year). Safety doesn't appear to be their number one concern to say the least.

Just add a cage along with all the factory stuff and brag about running 9's with all the factory stuff + a cage. Fast car though, whats it do on street tires?

But once you put the cage in the street car most of you will later complain about driving a car on the street with a cage blah blah blah...

I love Hater-tech...

yeah really nice car and all.

depending on the track, and wether or not they have had an issue, is if they will enforce the rules.
i know my home track tends to buckle down only after something bad happens.

really recently are they cracking down on us for 135 and no lisc. but the guy they smacked didnt have a cage i believe it is atleast a 6pt.
