I have a 99 b16 tranny..
getting ls 5th installed, along w/ an b16 obx lsd..


So my question is, will the b16 obx lsd be compatible with ls 5th gear?

also another option would be to get a type r lsd.. what would I need to get the lsd to work with the ls 5th...

5th gear isn't even going to be concerned with the LSD. Its on the complete oposite end of the input/countershafts as the LSD. You should be fine.

 

I'm such a noob about tranny stuff. Its kinda obvious. But just had to ask to make sure.


I took it apart the other day. Wow, it was so simple.. I kinda wanted to install the 5th gear my self. But then noticed why I got the tranny so cheap.. B16 syncros where shot.
