Default Proper order to build GSR motor? Please help.

I have a fairly stock 98 GSR with 15" rega's, omni coilovers, and function 7 rear lower control arms. Over the winter however, I want to build the motor while it is sitting. The only thing is i am not really sure where to begin. Is there a proper order with what i should buy and install first? It is not my daily driver, but I say this because I will need to drive it from place to place to have work done on it once winter is over if I am not finished. My plan of attack is Skunk pro 1 cams, p30 pistons, Injen short ram intake, uncertain with my valvetrain, omni power 68mm tb?, edelbrock x intake manifold, skunk cam gears vibrant header, tanabe cat back exhaust, and unsure with mild port and polish. I want this car for autocrossing and touge so I want more torque over top end power. With this setup I am hoping for over 200whp?!I am not new to this sight by any means and I know how people get flamed for not searching. I have done a lot of homework on this but cannot find a definate answer. Also, if you would like to add any suggestions to my set up please do. Thank You.

It'll run, but why do all that and not have the pistons installed in the block? It'll run better with the pistons installed and tuned. Not really sure what you're trying to ask?

Thanks for the reply RED. I'm going to have new pistons, but that will probably be the last thing I buy for the build now with winter arriving. I am planning on installing everything else myself and waiting until winters over to drive the car for the piston install. Do you know what I'm trying to say? Any suggestions for my set up?

get some skunk 2 pro valvetrain

forget the short ram. longer 3" pipe with a velocity stack for real "bang for the buck"

Alrite I'll look into skunks valvetrain, thanks. I have a CAI in my 07 Eclipse but I want the short ram for better throttle response. I know there are thousands of other people on this site that could help me out. Anyone else?

hey what up i built my gsr motor maybe this could help you i first started on bolt ons intake, header, exaughst, pulleys, intake manifold,68mm tb,ect then i dyno tuned it on a apexi v-tech controller, they blew my head since the bottom end was untouched i put a b16 head with a new valve job direct bolt on a go at about 140000 miles on the block it ran good until i put a ebay chiped ecu then spun a bearing and then built the entire motor at once im at 204whp 148ft lbs, so you can go with any bolt on no mater what order, but once you install anything internal i would recomend doing all internals at one time so your miledge is the same and you only have to dyno tune once!
