Default resealing a headlight!! help

ok so i need to pull my headlights apart and whatnot, and i get how to take them off,but what i am confused about is when i go back to reseal them and put them back in the oven,do i put the lense back on the light, then put it in there,or put the light in there, heat it up, then put the lense back on after.

cliffnotes- confused.lense on before or after put back in oven to reseal

ps-I already searched and found nothing.

thanks guys!

theres a diy in one of these links.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1782269

i just scraped all the crap out of mine and used some silicone, after I had them apart.

I put a small bead around the edge where the glue was and just pressed it back together and put the clips back on .

they have been like that now for about 6 mths and they are still holding up fine.

this was on a pair of 95 eg headlights.

imo, i would get all the old epoxy off, then put some on the lens edge and put it to the headlight base, then i would seal around the two of them as needed
