Is it possible to do a manual to auto tranny swap on a 2000 Type SH? I had an accident and lost my leg and i can't drive standard any more. If its posible can you tell me how and what i will need to do the swap? Thanks Drew

but yeh i know you can do it on a base model but i donno about atts, but if it possible then you have to get rid of atts unit.

i say just sell it and buy an auto or just trade someone for an auto. i know a few of people that would like to trade their auto for a manual prelude.

Your best bet is selling it and buying an auto. There is a lot of extra wiring that isn't in there.

 

yep true, you got to get a new harness, engine wise and interior wise.

u can sell it and get an auto prelude for less

anyways you could do the swap but your better off selling the sh and getting a base SS.
to swap to an auto you would bassicaly need to swap the engine and tranny since the SH model never came in auto and the way everything bolts up (atts) you wont be able to put a base trany on without some other things like a differnt intermediate shaft.
there is a whole write up on SH to base conversion by Aggreshun on preludepower.com but that was swaping SH manual for base manual w/ a lsd.
