so this morning when i got in my car i notcied that my passenger side window was left open by my little **** head of a brother. So i was pissed that my seat was wet but no deal, but then i notcied my side airbag light was on. i read in the manuel that its supposed to come on and then go off but it stays on. But when my mom sat in my passenger side it went off. The thing is i NEVER noticed if the light stayed on or not. Let me guys if its supposed to light on or to go off. My little brother either way going to get a *** wiping.

 

The seat has a sensor in it. If I put my laptop bag on the seat the airbag light will come on. Hope this helps.

if the light is on it means the airbag is deactivated, if the light is off the airbag is active. So if there is something kind of heavy (like a child) the light comes on and the airbag is deactivated. If there is something heavy on the seat (like an adult) the light stays off and the airbag is active.
