Would a H4 HID kit from an EK fit an EG?
Hey guys whats going on? I am just wondering because, I have a friend who is getting rid of his HIDs and he wonders if i want them. They are H4's and he has them in a 99 civic ex. Thanks in advance for the help!

yes they will fit.
Output and beam pattern will be absolutely horrible, though.
HID in stock 92-95 Civic headlights is NOT a good idea at all, due to the prismatic lenses.

I would suggest Philips Xtreme Power H4 bulbs, which put out 80% more light than regular H4 bulbs but draw the same amount of current.
Either that or the new Osram Night Breaker bulbs. I want to say either of those should be around $50/pair, but I'm not totally sure.
Either go that route with halogen or do a retrofit. HID with the stock reflector housings and lenses produces very bad results in all cases.

I just saw the side by side comparison of those and the philips and the Nightbreaker bulbs look stunning when it comes to high beam

Nightbreaker (left) vs. X-Treme Power (right) -- Low Beam
