Life expectancy aftermarket valves/spring/retainers??
I just had a quick question ive tried searching to see if anyone has discussed this but i couldnt find much. I heard that aftermarket valves and springs have a life expectancy of about 10 years or so depending on how often the car is driven. Does anyone know any specific facts about this. I just heard that the parts start to wear. Also, i saw someone on h-t selling some supertech valves/springs/retainers for bseries vtec. Will these parts work on non-vtec? i wouldnt think so but im not sure. thanks
you kinda need a crystal ball to tell you the life expectancy of parts. its all in how hard you are on the car. and no the vtec cylinder head parts will not fit your non vtec head.
yea i know quality has alot to do with it. I just wanted verify the piont that most aftermarket valvetrain does not last as long as OEM honda valvetrain am i right?
