speedometer not working
just did my 4spd to 5spd transmission swap and now my speedometer isn't working. i'm thinking its my speedometer cable(?).
what all could it be or just that?

yeah it would...now if you fixed the issue with the cable and it still throws a code after you reset the ecu, then you may have a problem...i had a similar issue on my old hatch where no matter what i did i couldnt shake my vss code...turns out since i was mixing and matching harness' i wasnt getting power to my speed pulser which is a direct connection to your vss cable...this is in your instrument cluster...i doubt this will be your problem, but if it is, just giving you a heads up on what i have encountered..after i resolved the issue i had no problem with the code 17VSS again...lol well i think so...its been a while since ive even worked on a honda, much less an EF hatch....i guess thats what hapens when you start workin at a domestic shop...lol
