Just street tuned my motor
Ok, so I just street tuned my motor, it has the following:
B18C5 Block
PCT Pistons (Oversized)
ARP Rod Bolts
Whale ***** Intake
64mm TB
S2 Intake Manifold
Hondata IM Heat Shield
S2S2 Cams
Blox Valvesprings + Retainers
Hytech 4-2-2-1 Race Header
Greddy SP2 Exhaust
Stage 4 Clutch
8.5 LB Flywheel
4.7 ITR Tranny
And to be honest im not really impressed with the motors performance. The tuner is a really cool guy and he knows his **** so im not putting any blame or anything on him, Im just seriously not impressed at all. Do you think there is still a good amount of power to pull out on the dyno to wake this motor up? BTW, before I go to the dyno my AEM Fuel Rail and FPR should be coming in.

theres only so much you can do for a street tune. Unless its a motor that i'm familiar with, i dont really mess with timing. Just clean up the timing, clean up the AFR and give the car back. Dyno tuning is where you allow the tuner to make you happy, given everything was put together correctly.

Yea, I definetely want the dyno tune so I can open up this engines full potential. It does break traction when VTEC hits in first. After the dyno and tuning I would like to see 200 WHP but I know i'll probably get somewhere around 195.

As stated already.....Street tuning gives you an engine that can be driven without issues. It will give you gas mileage as well as reliability. Dyno tuning is where you can adjust timing, cams, WOT A/F, Vtec engaigment, and rev limit. The overall graph is what is important, not the Peak number.
Go to the dyno....
