P28 or p06 question for d16z6 guys

Default P28 or p06 question for d16z6 guys

ok so i know the 95 civic ex motor d16z6 requires a p28 if i recall correctly but when i got the motor done the guy gave me a "P06" so he says.... my problem is in low rpms it sputters feels like its running a little rich would this be the case if the "P06" is chipped for turbo? help me out thanks guys

If he sold you a chipped P06, then who knows what the fuel/ignition maps look like. He could have anything on there.

so ok then whats your best suggestion to this "issue" its not really an issue i mean it runs it just doesnt run as PERFECT as id like it to... its got brand new bottom end new pistons rods crank all new bearings only thing thats old is the block and the head but the head was rebuilt....

I'd be scared of a cheap tune. Good tuning isn't cheap. Why spend all that money on your engine and other things and get a cheap tune? Do you understand what will determine how good and how long your engine will last?
