help with lca tire rubbin
Hey guys,
I have two sets of rear lca's here. I know which set each was claimed to be, but i was wondering if you guys could tell them apart to verify it for me. I had the 'DA' lcas on my crx since i did the da integra rear disc swap. I've had problems with my wheels rubbin on the inside of the fender ever since with certain wheels. So i bought the crx si lcas since they are suppose to be 1/8" shorter or whatever.
Heres the pics:

The lca labeled 'A' is the DA and the lca labeled 'B' is suppose to be from a crx si. My observations... lca A was a tad longer from the inside of bushing 1 to 3 than lca B.
The spacing from bushing 1 and 2 is quite a bit tighter on lca B as compared to 'A'. As pictured here.... (sorta)

So... my question is, would this help solve my rubbing issue with the back wheels? Looks like the bottom of the shock will be father from the center of the car and closer to the wheel, and the overall length of the lca will be a hair shorter...?

Are you running the DA upper camber arms or the crx ones?
If you are using the DA upper arms than there lies your problem. By having the longer lower control arms you should have more camber which "should" move the tire away from the fender lip.
I would check the "camber" arm first. When you swapped Trailing arms you should have used the stock crx lower control arms, upper camber arms, and the stock compensator arm(toe arm).

raise the car up some... your suspension is probably really soft and when your turning its rubbing..
moving the lower arm in will only make it rub more cause it will push the top part of the tire out more....
so you can either get a camber kit and mess with your settings then.
just raise it back up,

Yea my suspension is pretty soft. I'm only dropped about 1.5-1.8 in the rear. I had some rota slips with azenis 205-50s had to get rid of them real quick. NOw i have group ns with kumho 205s, +35 offset i think. Just picked up another set of group n's the other day with a +40 offset. So hopefully between the lca's and smaller offset i will be all good for now.....with better suspension in the distant future.
