I have some friends starting a new website and they want to sponser a run like this in the spring. Nothing crazy, just a nice drive down taconic with a bunch of cars.
All cars are welcome....
Could turn into something really nice, but first they just want to see what type of support we can get.
DECEMBER 22nd we will be meeting at the old Dutchess Mall on Route 9 just south of the interstate 84 intersection at noon.
Drop me a PM if you're interested, or might be interested. And spread the word, if you think it sounds fun.
They are planning a realy nice event for this spring.... it will be awesome, and definitely the event that kicks off 2008 with a huge bang!!! More details on that soon.

Man, its winter. Most are running steelies with snows on dirty cars.Lip kits are off.
(Big baller's cars are in a heated garage for the winter!) and any extra money is going for Xmass presents.Sounds like an idea for spring

I heart my garage. not heated though. lol I also heart my **** box that alows my queen to sleep at peace for the winter months. but ye man def spring time sight me up. im not far.

 

i understand that a lot of cars are packed up or at least not set up for the winter, the 22nd is just an easy drive for those who do have the cars running thru the winter.
(and steelies are welcome, haha)

Im 15 minutes from Dutchess Mall, is thier a "list" of people that are participating? And where do you plan on ending the drive?

sorry i didnt get back with a response, but i hope you can join us on January 19th. we will be driving from the dutchess mall parking lot to the bottom of Bronx Park Road. the drive in December went well, and we expect more drivers this month. feel free to stop by the lot, or check out the website: covertdriver.com or search for "covertdriver" on youtube, someone who came posted a short video.
