im stuck on the wire harness, i have like 2 sensors extra, its a 94 gsr converted to obd2 into my 96 ls. i bought a obd2 gsr harness and a obd2 ecu to match it. the engine is already in just need help plugging the sensors in... thanks. i hope i get this **** running today...

you need to change distributor to obd2, and i believe you need to change the oil pump to obd2.

 

yeah i did but whats funny is that i have 3-4 extra connectors on the gsr harness i got and they dont plug into anywhere. Is the 94 and 95 gsr motor have more plugs than the 96+ gsr engines?

 

how about the charcoal canister is on the gsr motor. on my ls its by the battery.

 

there is no crank angle sensor and no knock sensor so those two plugs go nowhere,ur car wont run right without those so u need to get a jumper harness and an obd1 ecu

 

so you saying the obd2 gsr harness doenst come with knock sensor plugs and crank angle sensor? how does the knock sensor plug on the harness look like.

 

well im using a obd2 gsr ecu too so, shouldnt it by pass it then?
