ok so i have a 97 gsr that had a cel on, so i checked it and it was a code 22 (VTEC pressure valve)...

so my car is covered under the extended warranty through acura and i got it fixed... im sure they fixed it cuz the repair was delayed due to the part being delivered and i can clearly see that they put a new pressure valve on there and the cel was off...

but now not even 2 weeks later the cel is throwing code 22 again... anybody ever heard of this happening? or know whats going on?

VTEC seems to engage fine and everything

 

Might sound pretty silly, but go check your oil level. If not the oil, check your pressure switch.

 

Bring it back to Acura, they should check it out again for free since its the same problem as before.

yeah thats what im going to do im just wondering whats causing it to keep failing... i dont want it to be a bigger problem thats causing this...

as for the oil level acura did an oil change when i brought it to them for free as well... but i did also check it recently and thats fine...
