Default rims off other makes of cars.

I was wondering if any one has used rims off other make of cars like Chevy or ford ect.
I know honda isn't the only car with the 4x100 rim pattern. If you have used other rims what kind have you used and off what kind of car.

thanks

There is more to proper fitment than the bolt pattern. Offset is important, to position the wheel/tire properly (in towards or out away from the car). So is the proper center bore (the diameter of the big hole in the middle of the wheel), to prevent vibrations or the need for hubcentric rings.

The huge availability of new and used stock and aftermarket wheels for Civics and Integras means that it's a lot easier to get wheels designed for those cars, rather than deal with these issues that can arise from using wheels designed for other brands of cars.

The new Mini has 4x100 wheels, as well as the older Miata's.

The miata wheels actually need to be bored out before they fit on a honda. A lot more work then simple hub-centric rings.
