yes you can fit 16"s on the dc5 as long as it's the same 5 lug pattern.. the 02-04 typeS came with 16"s

that i don't have a clue on... i'm not a huge rim guy. Somebody who knows how to do it will have to chime in. You may find a faster answer on Clubrsx.

I doubt a 5mm spacer will give you enough clearance, but it might. If not, then it is not safe to space out anymore than 5mm on the OEM studs.

I'd consider getting different wheels at that point unless you really, really like the oem DC2R wheels.

IMO there are better options.

I'll try that then. I've always been a fan of the dc2r wheels in cw, and since im gonna be picking up dc5r suspension, i thought I'd ask. Since my car is also cw i thought it would be a good combo. Not really a fan of 17's or 18's. Thanks for the info. Maybe if I got some extended studs, do you think it would clear with a little larger spacer?

i have the dc5-r brembo conversion on my car and i also heard a 5mm spacer will allow you to put the dc2 type r rims on but im not 100% sure if your looking for a track rim check out team dynamics they make a small rim that clears the dc5-r brembo caliper
