Default 1st Shakedown pass at Houston Raceway Park- Timeslip

This is my timeslip at Houston Raceway Park yesterday night:

I do not have a cage in the car, so we had to end the fun after my first pass down the track. The officials gave us crap and we were about to be kicked out of the track.

Unfortunately I do not have video of the pass, we forgot to bring a camera. I will have a camera for sure the next time we go out to the track.

We'll be back after we put in a cage and see what the car can do. I hope we can break into the 10's.

Only some . I was spinning through 3rd and squirming in 4th. I think that could've been the wheel spinning inside the slick, I'm not sure. I need to mark the slick/wheel the next time we go to the track.

some? haha, yea, fwd sucks, but those are good 60's IMO. as far as wheel slip, why dont you drill em? like bead locks. they wont hold air like a street tire, but id imagine they wont need to hold air for more than a day, and you probably check pressures between each pass.

Thanks guy . I am really hoping to break into the 10's soon when we work out the little odds and ends.

Some of the setup information can be found here:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2125702

The dyno graph in that thread is my pump gas map.

The car was on 111 octane TrackTec race gas, and pushing 527 WHP/ 381 TQ when it ran an 11.21.
Dyno graph here:

I love your setup. AC compatible, Iron liners, Crome Pro, 8.5:1 pistons... all things that are usually out of the norm for a low 11 second prelude. Awesome... truly inspiration. I am hoping for 12's on stock block. Good stuff

judging from the timeslip, if you can bring the 60' down to 1.6 from 1.75 the car should run 10.90, hopefully that will happen soon...

Thank you! The setup is by no means fancy or bling, just stuff that has been proven to work. We put alot of attention to what we wanted to do with the car and built it accordingly
