Default Powdercoating Aluminum Boost Tubes and Intake Manifold?

Are there some good reasons for me to not have my boost tubes and intake manifold powder coated? I have a good hookup through my work to get them done for free, so I figured I'd do it.

My worry is the insulation the powder coat would add to the intake and charge pipes.

Also, Would I be more prone to blowing off couplers? I could see the powder coat being slick and hard to grab with the coupler?

Eh, the powdercoat really isn't too slick actually. I have done it to a few setups, it shouldnt be bad at all.

The insulation properties are a plus with charge pipes and intake manifold. As long as your charge pipes are bead rolled you will be fine.

I didnt have a bead roller at the time, but I had the powdercoaters use a textured powdercoat on the last 1.5" of each tube.

Powder coating is fine, we used to do powder coating in house and coated intake manifolds and charge piping all the time, it doesn't really make the material any more "slick" than it naturally is, and it is a joke of an insulator. Go for it man.

Well, I'm getting ready to powdercoat my valve covers, intake manifold and boost tubes. Do I need to use high temp powdercoat???

No high temp... Powdercoat is essentially a thin layer of plastic which melts at around 400°. You only need to do high temp on exhaust parts. The high temp stuff isn't high-temp enough for anything on the exhaust between the head and the end of the cat.
