Default riding through Europe this next summer

I'm planning on taking a trip this next summer to somewhere in Europe. As of now i haven't ridden outside eastern england.

have any of you ridden anywhere up here? If you could ride anywhere where would it be? ive considered a track ride in Germany but ive decided against it. a friend last summer crashed on the track in Germany which ended up costing over £1000 to get home.

Check out http://www.advrider.com/, even though it's a forum for Dual Sports mostly, there are many people from Europe, and many have already traveled many countries, I'm sure they could help you with some tips for the trip and nice places/countries to visit.

this is actually my dad and my life long dream. id say start through england up to scotland, over to ireland, back to southern england, catch a boat to france, down to the south of france over through italy, north to austria, up germany back to france through belgium and catch another boat back to england. thats what id do anyway . also if you make it to austria, try and find the monestary where they brew chimay beer. i hear its the best beer in the WORLD.

Isle of Man. Go big or go home. I've seen pictures of some of the nicest roads on earth in the Alpine region of Austria, Switzerland, and Northern Italy.

I just got back from Amsterdam a few days ago. Quite a few people on bikes there even in the cold. Saw a nice mille, a Honda hurricane 1000, a zx-6 and a new gixxer to name a few. Nice city, wished I could have found a bike rental place.
