on the pink slip regarding the rings, it states that i need to have the second ring with the marked side face up. same with the top ring. well the top ring had markings "N" so i put that face up, but the second rings had no markings. Which kind of bugged me considering the slip said there would be a marking...

any thoughts please?

 

 

If I can remember corectlly on mine, one side of the ring is flat and the edge on the other side is concaved (best explanation I could come up with). Put the flat side down.

 

after further inspection, i took a flashlight to the rings and found the marking wiseco was referring to. its very very faint...but its there.

it has the same "N" marking as the top ring.

i have the XX ring set and i dont see the tapers that are supposed to be on the ends and there is definitely no "hook" in the ring...

 

Mine was there but very faint, it just has a small groove around the outside of the ring.

 

for my cp's it said if it has numbers or markings face the rings up if nothing is there either side up...or some **** like that lol...thats ackward that there is no hook in the second ring
