well ill tell u my experience, i bought the tein s-tech springs and i put them on stock struts on a 97 teg LS...drove the car for a year and like 27k (yea i drive a lot)....the car handled like a dream and was low...didnt had any problems (just mad camber wear)....other than that everything kool.. sold the car like 3 months ago and the suspention was still good...i have tokikos with skunk2 coilovers right now on my lude and i dont like it...its too low and the suspention is really jumpy...im thinking in going stock struts and tein springs....but the bad thing about the tein in ludes is that the drop is just like 1.3 thats not that much...im thinking on going with neusspeed they have a 1.8 drop if im correct....soo go for it man

I have a 97SH with these springs and stock shocks and I love them. I must've put on 50K miles on them and they still ride the same when I first bought them.

So go for it! The drop is 1.5F and 1.3R for the 5th gens

Heres a bad quality shot of my ride height. Previous owner's setup consisting of OEM struts and I'm not sure of the brand name springs. I'll be honest, it isn't a bad ride at all, very comfortable daily driver. Will be swapping out for some Tokicos soon. I wouldn't suggest lowering your car with OEM struts, but you should be fine with Tein S. Techs - doesn't provide that low of a drop.

Now, do you absolutely have to throw the springs on now to be cool and because you're cheap? No. Just save up for some Tokico blues or something... don't throw them on just because you're "low on budget." You're going to need an alignment afterwards anyways, so do it right.

phaiwezzie, you're wheels are on wrong.

They're directional. You have the left side wheels on the right.
