Honda Prelude All Model Preludes

my 93 lude will run for 2 min then cut off. need help

Default my 93 lude will run for 2 min then cut off. need help

at first it would not go pass 3k rpm then after 2 or 3 minute it will cut off, if you try imediately to re start the car it will not. but if you wait several min it will but it will cut off several min after. those anybody have a clue of what it could be, i will apreciate any help.

1993 prelude si it has a h23 and is manual trans, cold air intake, nology wires, header, full exhaust

Are you getting any check engine lights? It could be your main relay, ingnition switch ignitor, etc...probably main relay though.

I'd put some stock or NGK wires on there, those 'ground straps' are useless.

not enough time for the check engine to come on it cuts off alsoif i try to rev the engine it sounds like it's missfiring.

That could be your timing. Check both ignition timing and cam timing.

Another easy thing to do would be to replace spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor and see if that helps.

it's not the timming, plugs wires and the hole distributor is brand new, i hear a weird noise comming from the intake control selenoid i was thinkin a sensor possibly or the fuel pump or mayhbe the ecu. don' know is relly crazy what the car is doing.

So how did you check the timing? What is an intake control solenoid?

Sounds to me like you replaced the distributor and put the plug wires on in the wrong order.

Either that or your MAP sensor is fucked/gone. That would cause the same thing.
