Does a B18 hang lower than a b16?

Default Does a B18 hang lower than a b16?

Just trying to understand if a b18 or b20 sit lower(oilpan is lower) then a b16?

Or they sit higher?

They are taller, but often most mounts tend to have it sit higher then lower.

Bs also sit pretty low regardless.

The block is taller than the B16 block. The oil pan will be at the same height as with the B16. I know because I put a B18C5 short block ( back in 2000 )on my B16 swap and the B16 header hit the oil pan a little because the head was up about 1/2 inch.
