I installed and wired one of the sidemarkers. Went to check to see if they work and none of the turn signal lights work nor the brake lights.

I checked all the fuses and they look to be fine.

 

Found problem. Side markers still wont light up but a little more looking might tell why.

 

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM IN MY EK9. WHEN I PUSH THE BRAKES THE BLINKERS SHUT OFF AND THEY DONT WORK. WHEN YOU GET A ANSWER PLEASE LET ME KNOW I WOULD APPRECIATE IT.

Recheck your wires.
Could be crossed somewhere or fused together somehow.

 

Late response but thats the problem I had. I tried to rush through the project and spliced two wires together.

Re-check your car's cap's lock key, it may be stuck on


Also, check to see that the grounds are secure.
