B16a dyno with bolt-ons
Two weeks ago I dyno'd my car
setup:
stock jdm b16a (gen2) block with the following bolt-ons:
- itr intake manifold (port-matched to tb)
- skunk2 68 mm throttle body
- injen 3 inch itr cai
- hondata intake gasket
- 240cc injectors
- Denso VK22 spark plugs
- hytech production header
- custom testpipe
- Invidia G200 catback
- P28 ecu street tuned with eCtune
It makes 193 flywheel hp and 171 Nm. And 155 whp (little low because of 4 wheel drive dynojet)

What do you think of it? Pretty good result I think

My B16A3 made 150 whp with DC sports header ( 2 tubes bent to crap) crappy 2.5 inch intake, 2.25 exhaust with crap stock muffler, with Chrome tuning. And mine is not JDM. I'd expect more from your mods. SPECIALLY that header. And I also did my dyno runs on Dynojet. ( With PS). Check if you can get better tuning out of your engine.

As I said this dyno reads whp very low, because it's a 4 wheel drive dynojet. So that means more friction to the tires and higher drivetrain losses.
Usually b16 drivetrain losses would be 30 to 33 hp. So the true wheel hp must be higher, keep that in mind. Look to the flywheel hp, it's really high for a stock b16.

That will be done soon with my new b16. At the moment I'm building a b16 with headwork, high cr pistons and cams/valvetrain. Till that time this is my daily drive.
