got back from the dyno last month almost 250 whp
in my crx with Z6-T
im looking for a tranny build thread for boosted D-series

i found from Mista Bone and Benze a couple of combos but i dont know if they will work for a cable i dont know what is interchangeable between hydro or cable...
#1 combo 1-3 ex/si hydro, 4-5 crx "i guess dx/si .937 and .771"
#2 combo 1-3 dx/si cable, 3rd gear from cx/vx hydro-hf/std cable for a 4, 5 crx si
#3 combo 1-2 si cable, 3-4 zc, 5 crx si
#4 combo 1-5 dx/si cable "stock"

5 transmissions that are laying in my garage.
95-ex hydro 4.25 fd
89-si cable 4.25 fd
89-ex cable 4.058 fd
89-zc cable 3.888 fd
88-dx cable 3.722 fd

 

89 Si, drop in OBX and be done.

Simple, but works.

i was expecting alot more than that....

since its cable if i find a 4.437 will that hurt it any

 

depends on the overall setup, with 22" slicks the 4.437 would be welcomed.

If you find a XSi tranny, just chanhe to OBX LSD and smaller axle seals, done.
