i was wondering how much one could bore out an LS block before one has to sleve it.

Call honda and get there piston ring kits that are for bored LS. I think the biggest you can go is 81.5MM on the standard pistons.

I personally wouldn't bother building an LS block when you can just buy a GSR block which are stronger and can handle revving alot easier.

But I guess it depends on what you want.

The general thought is 1mm (to 82mm).Honda only sells a +.25mm .There are lots of aftermarket pistons from 81mm to 82mm.
