Wheel bearing question
alright so I searched and I saw a thread of the same nature but I wanted to double check, I pulled my cv today because it was making a nasty noise and I was curious if my wheel bearing was going, so when I took the cv axle out I grabbed the top and bottom of the brake disc and it has play towards me and away from me....in the other thread it was said that this means the wheel bearing is shot, so basically I am looking for backup on this answer! thanks guys.
when we do engine swaps on cars we need to move, we put a big nut and bolt through the hub, because they can separate.
is the car making noise goin down the highway? the bearings themselves arent that costly, it is actually doin the job that sux.

Yeah it makes a nasty noise but I just thought it was the CV at the time because my car has always been hard on CV's..I put the wheel back on and it has play so I pulled the whole arm assembly off and I'm gonna replace it, I'm sure the car has over 150k on it anyhow so its probably about that time.
