Why do you want a very stiff spring? What are you going to use the car for?

ground control ftw. I def. would recommend them. They are really easy to deal w/ and if you want you can always upgrade the springs to custom rates. I believe its a 50 dollar added charge to upgrade springs, but honestly its worth the investment if your going to autox or track your car.

yea but they cost about 100 bucks more than the sk2... so price for price do u still think the gc's are worth the money???

definately worth the money... the GC yellow setup rivals and beats some cheaper one piece coil systems. i was going to run that setup until i got a hook up on my omni power full coils.

They're about 10x the coilovers sleeve for the $100.
You can get them used for hella cheap. Just buy a set used if money is an issue. I found a set of koni's and ground controls for a friend for $400 shipped a year ago. He still has em, work great.

A stiffer spring vs a softer spring on the same shock: The stiffer one will be MORE bouncy.
Kind of like what happens when you put stiffer lowering springs/coilovers on stock shocks VS. stock springs. One of the reasons for bouncyness is that the lowering spring or coilover is too stiff for the shock to handle.
The shock is there to damp frequency (vibration) put out by the spring. If the spring puts out too much frequency for the shock to handle, you will have a bouncy ride. The stiffer the spring, the more it wants to oscillate and vibrate.
Ground controls are nice. They have good street rates. You dont want a spring that is very stiff for use on american roads....and lots of american tracks.
Anywhere from 350-500 LB/inch front and 300-450 lb rear is good for a comfortable street setup with neutral handling. This is conservative, but still kicks ***.
I used 350lb/in up front and 450lb/in in the back on my EK. Great ride...but set up a little for rotational oversteer. That's how I roll.

A reduction in snap oversteer is always a good thing
