Default Car pulling

im on si rims with bridgestone potenzas which have camber on the OUTSIDE i had them flipped so the camber would be on the outer side. About a month ago i hit a curb pretty bad and the left front tire took all the damage (hit the curb head on, turned the wheel slightly to the right so the front left took the most damage) i took it to get aligned right after but it still pulls to the left and i get sudden pulls when doing slight movements such as changing lanes. Do you guys think i could have bent or messed something up? . i checked but nothing visible shows. Thanks

Definitely.

Do you have your alignment print-outs? Post the specs.

Lower control arm, subframe, knuckle, etc.

When you take the car in for an alignment, ask them to check out the left front suspension for bent control arms and damaged mounting points.

the caster could be a degree off ont he wheel you hit causing bump steer and camber thrust. I'd say upper control arm / lca

ok got the alignment done, is this ok?

now, the guy said that i get the drift because with the impact of the hit, the subframe slightly moved. You guys think he's right?

your beam has shifted/bent . the reason i think that is your ft camber and caster read outs are flip flopped. usually with a bent arm or knuckle one side would be out of whack and the other would be on par .i hope this helps

if you hit something on the left side it will explain why the left side is not the same as the right the camber and caster.

im going to take a guess and say your lca is bent because the caster is off

it could still be a few things. physically go look at the control arms to see if its bent. look at the subframe bolts and see if the subframe has shifted...u should be able to see some marks if it has moved or not, and look at the side that u hit. since the caster is off one degree. your car is lowered?

i think its the subframe that has moved...go under and look at the subframe.

but if it has moved, will it be hard to re-align it in place?

Front subframe bolt holes are usually slotted or larger than needed, and the bolts have very thick, large washers to allow some adjustment. If it was shifted when the impact occurred, you should be able to see round marks on the subframe where the washers used to be before it shifted.

If you don't see any round marks around the washers, then it most likely did not move.

So if it was shifted, usually it's just a matter of loosening the subframe bolts and shifting it back into place. This would have to be done on an alignment rack, or a frame straightening machine.

somethings bent, but your post alignment specs are kinda ok.

the cross camber and cross caster is not good. but liveable.

looking at your previous alignment, no wonder you got a lot of tire wear.

once again proves, ITS NOT THE CAMBER, ITS THE TOE THAT CAUSES UNEVEN TIRE WEAR.

i know that camber doenst wear out tires, this isnt about my tires being worn out. This is about the car steering/pulling/veering to the left. Hopefully by the end of the week i can get it checked out

yeah i know, just using your post to make another point.

driving on already uneven tires will affect your tracking.

and yeah, the cross camber and cross caster affects your tracking as well.
so no real surprise to me.

well again. of course something is bent.

and very typically the LCA and the subframe are the first to go.

so thats what you start to look at. whats the mystery?
