d16z6 block with jdmd15 vtec head on boost
i have a d16z6 with a d15 vtec head just blew the rings and now wanting to rebuild it . i am thinking about doing the eagle h beam rods and the vitara pistons do i have to notch the block? aslo do i have to put a block guard on it ? the old setup was running on a ihi turbo did ok but rings gave out

so the block guard guard is useless? i also have the 450 injectors is that a decent size or do they need to be bigger?
