thinking about purchasing a good setup - for a primary track car, running these shocks
I could use some help as to what specs to get (length/stroke & valving). also do these come with spings? do I need springs & sleeves or just spring? thanks for the help & sorry for the dumb questions.
I am planning on 800lb front & 1000 lb rear spring rates. also where can I buy swift springs?

Prima-Racing can set you up with the 3011/12 dampers and springs. http://www.sromagazine.com/pri...id=22
Chris at RedShift Motorsports may still be able to help you too, but as of Oct 1, he's concentrated all his efforts to in-house developed race parts. See if he can't still help you with obtaining the 3011/12 dampers. http://www.redshiftmotorsports.com/
Also try contacting Mike at PDQ Motorsports he'll be able to direct you on where to get the 3012 dampers. http://pdqmotorsports.net/
Propartsusa.com offers custom Koni build services, I believe they can obtain your std off-the-shelf yellows, the spss3 vavled sports, 3011/12 and even the custom 2812 dampers.
Truechoicekoniracingservices.com can also help you with custom Koni race shock builds.

Try getting in touch with CRX Lee from Koni NA. He may be able to point you in the right direction as far as body length and valving go. There is obviously no set formula that will work for everything, but I generally feel that it's a good idea to start out with body length and valving similar to the Koni 8041-RACE dampers, if they're made for your chassis. That's JMHO; others may disagree.
They do not come with springs. For a 3011, which has a smooth steel body IIRC, you would need to use coilover sleeves. I believe the 3012 has a threaded aluminum body and comes with spring perches, so in that case all you would need are the springs and upper mounts, provided that Koni already manufactures the dampers with the proper lower mount application.

i wouldn't do the 3012, and i am not even sure if they still sell them.
They are a lot more expensive then the 3011's for not really anything more...
