bolt ons ep3 vs stock fg2
FG2 w/o any mods because the motor is almost the A2. EP3's just got the crappy end of the deal. they seriously got the raw end of the stick because the only difference between the EP3 and the base RSX was the intake manifold. the IM on the base RSX is a Dual-Runner intake as the EP3 got screwed out of that.
drivers race
K20A3 with i/rh/e make 160-165whp and there are many cases when bolt on EP3 smoked Type S's and FG2 being heavier is no different.
hahaha EP3 got screwed up? base RSX got screwed cause it got plastic IM and whenever base guys want to do serious mods they need to swap in EP3/K20A2 PRB mani

lol, let's be serious. Only reason this would happen is because the RSX-S driver was crap.

LOL you must not know about the IM on the RSX as it's a Dual-Runner vs Short runners is why they would be better over the EP3's. So what if it's "plastic". What does that have to do with anything anyways? Also why would base rsx's swap for an EP3 manifold? that would be downgrading on performance.. i think you're smoking something here or you had a little to much early egg nog. People who want true power out of OEM IM would put an RBC manifold (k20z3/Euro Type R manifold) with supporting mods for a base.

Ive seen a bolt-on EP3 take out a rsx-s before but than again, could be a driver issue. And also the I would think the EP3 would also need a reflash at the least along with bolt-ons to get 160whp+.
With all of the constant trash talking, I propose the EP3 and RSX forum be split. RSX guys always say that the EP3 sucks even compared to the base RSX. I bought the EP3 because it looks better, there are few of them, and they turn heads. The EP3 performs slightly better than a B16 car (with the exclusion of the CTR), but everyone still knocks on it. If an A2 was swapped into an EP3, all things being equal, the EP3 would tear the RSX-S up. It is a good car with a good engine even if it is not the 200hp A2. The RSX-S was originally priced 7-8K higher than the EP3, so it should have a higher performance engine. Even now, the RSX-S is priced used at about the same as an EP3 (good deal or not it is). The forum should be split to end all of the "you're gonna go slow with an A3" or "swap in an A2 to get any performance".
I bought my EP3 because I see more guys driving them than girls... Unlike the RSX. Sorry, I don't want a car that Honda intended for college chicks in Abercrombie to drive. And I hate leather interior, and cloth interior on an RSX looks like ***. EP3 seats are the bomb.

actually if you swapped an a2 into an EP3 it would not tear an rsx-s up it would be a drivers race. the EP3 is about 50lbs heavier then the typeS. When honda built the A3 it wasn't built for performance it was built for economy reasons. The base RSX is just a slight hair better then the EP3 because of the dual runners it has. Honda wanted the base rsx to be above it's EP3 since Acura is a "luxary class". Just face it the A3 is not a spectacular motor unless you build or boost. It's just how the ball roles.

The forum isn't going to get split, so don't hold out too much hope for that.
If the Ep3 came with the A2 it would perform identical to the RSX-S. Weight is about equal, so I'm not sure where you are getting your information from. Also, the RSX-S is more expensive on the used market given stock cars with equal miles. Again--not sure where you're getting your information.
RSX-S was not 8K more new than the EP3 retail vs. retail.
Looks are subjective. People like what they own. That's nothing new.
