i have a 94 honda accord and just put a used automatic transmission in it.but when i start the car it makes a winding noise and the d4 light is blinking, can anybody tell me what might be causing the noise and what i need to fix.

i had sorta the same problem. the automatic tranny is slipping. whenever i put it into d4 or d3, i have to step on the gas harder to get it to go and it didnt seem to switch gears too well either. im bringin it to a tranny shop tomorrow to find out what is wrong.
