What is the funniest car you've driven...
...on a race track ? Not the fastest car, but the one you've had the most fun with...
Was it a Honda ? Was it stock ? You can discuss...
Thanks,
Patrick

I'll chime in.....
on the track so far is my R.
on an autocross, last generation of an RX-7, the power, handling and brakes were fun.
I am still waiting on a Porsche owner to let me drive

That would be on my list as well. I had the chance to drive the NSX and the RX-7 when they were both new and I liked the RX-7 a lot more. Especially for the money. Great car, just not something I'd want to be doing maintenance on 15+years later...

bone stock miata. i'd raced crx's and civics for about 6 years. set foot in a stock miata and MAN, that was fun! i love it to death. ESPECIALLY in the rain. it's such a fun toy.

My 1990 Miata was a blast also..... the "tossability" more than made up for the lack of power.
Then I bought a S2K and that almost had the feel of a Miata but more power.

My Triumph was a lot of fun (and a bit funny).
http://webpages.charter.net/k....o.jpg
It is a former EP race car.
My Austin-Healey was also fun
http://webpages.charter.net/k....y.jpg
It is still mostly "stock".
Keith, who ought to sell the Triumph...

Damn, I thought it was funniest!
For sure that'd be the Neon I rented from Thrifty rent-a-car for $19.99 a day. Needs NOS! The poor tires on that thing after two days (and the poor brakes..) I got my monies worth from the insurance on it.
My H1 Prelude is a lot of fun. 2400 lbs with me, 230 WHP, don't care about chipping the paint anymore...

I took my 1991 GEO Metro around Big Williow, this is when NASA had the lunch time track rides. Nothing like a 45HP 3 cly 5speed Geo with 155/50/12 under it for some fun in the sun.
damn i was also hoping it was funniest...
most fun? my del sol, because i push it harder than when i'm driving someone else's car, so i have more fun.
funniest? when i blew up my del sol at the NW Regionals time trials championship in september, i took out a rental toyota yaris 4 door and had an absolute blast. set the fast lap for tt6 too that session!

lol i had a great time doing it. it was also really nice to be able to go full tilt, but still be slow enough to really work on the line. it felt good to me, and because it was an automatic, i got a full half hour's worth of non stop left foot braking practice. haha i said that if it posted within 10 seconds of my lap in the del sol, that i would sell it.... luckily it was nowhere close.

Stock S2000 is very pleasant on the track (on the street, it's less fun).
Funnest car for me: modified Evo 8 of one of my students, Franz (he's an Evo tuning guy). It had ridiculous power. I could barely keep the gas pedal floored for a couple of seconds at a time on our small local track.
Of course, I too have the most fun in my own cars, as I can push them the hardest.
I had a great time driving my stock Mazda 323 on track this fall when I found that my Civic was locked in the shop. 82 hp with 205-50-15 R-compounds...
