******* How to get rid of seam sealer .. rust underneath *******
Hello fellas... i was stripping the whole back of my car.. took of all the panels and seat and basically stripped down... As i was cleaning up everything, i saw rust spots by the bottom wheel well floor pan... There is a seam sealer over it and how do i get into tight spaces... I was planning on using wire brush ... any thoughts or ideas on how to approach this? thanks
They sell a wire brush specifically for this but a regular wire brush will not work as good. They tend to heat it up and the sealer clogs up the brush. I usually use a heat gun and a scraper and it all comes right off. Then you can use the wire brush for the little bit of left over.

Quick search showed this pdf of a snapon tool that works great. You can see the difference in the wire brush that you would normally have and they type that this one comes with. If they sell a wire brush for your tool like that one then I would get it cause it would save so much time.
