what spark plugs / wires are you using?
i'm dropping my motor in soon, but don't know what plugs & wires to use. *all motor setup*
so if you don't mind, just post what plugs & wires you're using and how u feel about them.
that is all.

im all stock but i use NGK V-Power (OEM) and OEM honda wires.
but i would assume for a all motor build you would want to go with iridums. anyone?

At the present time I am running with OEM Dealership wires (NGK) and NGK Iridium IX ZFR5FIX-11plugs.
I have a set of Accel 8.8's and an Accel E-Core Super Coil that I will use with the NGK plugs when I re-build.

I should also note that I did use MSD wires on my Accord as well but there is no gain so... but they looked good being red with my black/red valve cover
various suggestions of this brand but it's goin to be NGK and some OEM spec wires.
thanks for the input
on another note, anyone tried "Spoon Sports" plug wires yet?

there was a thread on H-T awhile back, cant remember whcih section it was in. but they tested brand new NGK wires VS 8 yr. old OEM honda wires on a stock engine (i think there was minor bolt-ons, thats about it) on a dyno and there wasnt any significance difference between the two

IMO should've went went with Denso Iridiums. I'm a huge fan of NGK, but when it comes to iridiums i think Denso is where its at. from everything i read Densor and NGK iridiums are almost identical, except with the denso's having a thinner electrode by .2mm IIRC, which gives it a more concentrated/powerful spark which also has less rsistant(ohms) vs. the thicker NGK iridiums which only gives you longer plug life with the thicker electrode. but iridiums in optimun situation should last upwards of 80k miles, and people who spend the money for it are looking for max performance anyway, so the longer plug life of the NGK IMO is not justified.

You can get them from any website that sells performance after market parts and if not, there is always ebay. I used to pay over $50 from performance website, I got on ebay for 38. Less than what oem spec cost and I really love the look and how smooth my car feels, been using them for over six years on all my family cars (all honda, accord, civics and crv) with no problems, plus they last so much longer

with plug resistance it goes.. copper>iridium>platnum
as far as longevity.. iridium>platnum>copper
There was a huge article in Sports Compact Car a few years back, check there site and do a search.
And you will never increase performance with plugs and wires, you'll just gain back what you lost since your last set.
The above statement is technically not true for forced induction, but it's still not the plug gaining the power
